the site has been through many revisions over the years, of which nearly no pictures remain. initially harru.club, i first used wordpress, which had several thousand attempts at exploiting a day, then wrote it in raw html and css in one file in 2018. that sort of sucked and whenever i clicked on a new page it would flash white so i moved to react. then a friend complained about the amount of client-side javascript that ran, so i moved to next.js which claimed to do server-side rendering. i then added auth and similar and the website got quite bloated so I have rewritten it using typescript and in theory cleaner.

the old version of this site used third-party services for auth and blogs but now i do it all myself bootstrap style. some would even call it functional! as well as just being a fancy forwarder to my github it also has featured several revisions of a personal upload tool, and some funny games like a japanese kana practice.
