brit school
miscellaneous arty things i did during my time at the brit school
i foolishly didn't do a real backup of the actual portfolio site so a lot of the miscellaneous work is lost to time. however below i will show off some of the cooler bits maybe.
3D models
first year final project
the final project of the first year of college was to do some sort of group project and we had quite a few 3d modelers and artists so we did the concept of a game. i don't think any other assets from it survived but there's this nifty looking street we did.

one of our modules involved a contest to see who could get the most instagram followers. we had to pump out content and try and collaborate with people. i think we ended up second with 170 but the winner had several thousand. this is partially because they already had several thousand follower but i think that might have been part of the lesson anyway.
our theme was like 3d simulations with a sort of surprise twist which took a little while to make and then we filled the space in between with cool renders of other stuff we had made. we picked our colour scheme and some of them turned out ok
see some examples of the simulations below or the instagram account itself [here]

the outcome of the web design module we did in sixth form. the main exercise of this website was more on the layout and the colour theory rather than having any particularly exciting features. it also bears the marks of me not being the one who took the photos and so some of them are crazy blown up and blurry. that was definitely a blunder on my part but luckily i got a good mark despite this. lots of black white and gold as she was a jazz musician but all of the content was made up. i also made the album covers but they were not very inspired. "getting the swing of things" was a reference to the xbox game "doritos crash course", which involves swinging on ropes and called the second level "learning the ropes". i hope you are still rockin', lucy.
