Lucy Clarke is a musician currently studying who plays the bass guitar, classical guitar and tuba. Her main instrument is bass guitar and main style is jazz.

 

Some of Lucy’s inspirations are musicians such as the talented American jazz/funk bassist Esperanza Spalding, another American funk bassist called Alissia Benveniste and jazz artists such as Dizzy Gillespie.

 

Experiences in the music industry have been multiple tours with orchestras and jazz orchestras to France, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Furthermore she has also been involved with ensembles such as the National Youth Jazz Collective, Thames Youth Orchestra and Jazz Orchestra, Richmond Music Trust Jazz Band, Soul Band and Concert Band, and Junior Guildhall.
